Publish your books, set up a storefront, and sell to readers.
When your book is ready, you can publish it to the Bitbook marketplace. Published books are discoverable by other users on the Explore page and available for purchase as digital or printed copies.
You can also set up a personal storefront — a dedicated page where readers can browse and buy all of your published books.
To publish a book, open it in the Book Editor and select Publish. Your book becomes immediately available on the marketplace. You can unpublish at any time to remove it from public access.
Published books can be purchased by other users as digital copies (added to their library) or as printed physical books shipped to their address.
Every creator can activate a personal storefront. Your storefront is a public page that displays all of your published books. Share the link with your audience to drive sales.
Activate your storefront from the account settings. You can deactivate it at any time without affecting your published books.
You earn revenue on every sale of your published books. Track your earnings from the Earnings page, which shows:
Total earnings and pending payouts
Per-book sales and revenue breakdown
Payout history and status
Payouts are processed on a regular schedule. See your Earnings page for current payout status.
Published books appear on the Explore page where readers can browse, filter, and discover new content. Books display their cover, title, author, and reader reviews.
Readers can leave reviews and ratings on books they've purchased, helping other readers find quality content.
Readers can purchase your books as gifts for others. Gifted books can be sent digitally via email or as physical printed copies. See the Gifting reference for details on the gifting experience.
Other users can adapt your published books — swapping in their own characters or changing settings to create a personalized version. Adapted books link back to the original, and you retain credit as the original creator.
